Ivo Fuijkschot is the Dutch founder of Crystal Skulls Brazil. He has worked with crystal skulls and sacred stones since 1997, more than 25 years, and has sold them to collectors and skull keepers around the world since 2008. In 2019 he moved to Brazil to be at the source of the stone, where he works directly with the master carvers who shape every piece by hand.
A calling that began in 1997
For Ivo, crystal skulls were never just objects to trade. The path began in 1997 as a quiet, personal connection to the skulls and the energy they hold. Over the following two decades that connection grew into a full-time devotion: finding genuine skulls, understanding them, and helping them reach the people who feel the same pull. What started as a fascination became a craft, and then a life’s work.
Living at the source in Brazil
Most sellers buy their skulls through layers of middlemen. Ivo chose a different path. In 2019 he moved to Brazil, the heart of the world’s finest carving quartz, so he could work hand in hand with the carvers and source stone through trusted local relationships, including small family-run mines and the carvers themselves, in Minas Gerais. That decision is the foundation of everything Crystal Skulls Brazil offers: no middlemen, fair and ethical sourcing, and a direct relationship with the people who carve each piece, including respected master carver Walmere.
What Ivo brings
- Direct relationships. Stone sourced through trusted local relationships, including small family-run mines and the carvers themselves, rather than through resellers.
- Named master carvers. Long working relationships with carvers such as Walmere, whose pieces are shaped entirely by hand.
- Personal selection. Ivo handles and chooses every skull himself, for its energy and its quality. If a piece does not carry the right presence, it does not make the collection.
- Experienced export. Years of international shipping mean fragile carvings are packed safely, with export paperwork prepared carefully, so each skull can travel from Brazil to your hands as smoothly as possible.
- Real depth. A grounded, heart-centred knowledge of the energetic and spiritual side of working with crystal skulls, built over more than 25 years.
